Projects
At present, Landsvirkjun is not involved in any energy developments.
Various projects are underway at Kárahnjúkar, i.e. putting the finishing touches to the hydroelectric projects established there in recent years.
Research and preparations continue for three new power plants on the River Thjórsá.
All necessary permits have been obtained for the power plant at Búdarháls, and construction there could begin soon.
