Landsvirkjun welcomes you to the company's power stations around Iceland.
During the summer of 2010 five stations are open to the public, as well as the Visitor Center in the Végarður community center in Fljótsdalur, where the Kárahnjúkar Hydropower Project is introduced.

Guests are welcome to visit and learn how electricity is produced with renewable and emission-free hydropower and geothermal energy.
The stations also host various exhibitions, including exhibitions in collaboration with Reykjavík Arts Festival and Iceland Design Center.
Open in the afternoon every day this summer. Free admission.
- Blanda Power Station: Lingering Shadows – Art exhibition by Baski.
- Búrfell Power Station: At Work - Photograps by Jakob Jakobsson, Faces of Thjorsa Valley for 1100 years - Learn about the life in centuries past, Þjóðveldisbærinn - The rebuilt medieval farmstead.
- Krafla Geothermal Power Station: The Krafla Eruptions and an introduction to the use of geothermal energy.
- Laxá Power Station: What of the Gods? – works by sculptor Hallsteinn Sigurðsson, based on the Nordic gods.
- Ljósifoss Power Station: Nature In Design – a collaboration with Iceland Design Centre.
- Végarður Visitor Centre in Fljótsdalur: The Kárahnjúkar Hydropower Project Exhibition and tours to the hydropower plant
All these stations feature the photographic exhibition Reality Check – a collaborative project between Landsvirkjun and Reykjavík Arts Festival.
