Support for the community
Landsvirkjun is involved in various social projects and follows a policy of providing grants to good causes. The company has supported a number of causes, including various charities, cultural and educational projects and sports and leisure activities. Applications are accepted all year round funds are released every quarter. The application deadlines are the 31st of March, 31st of July and 30th of November of every year.
The fund’s policy is to support projects with broad community relevance and the potential to positively impact Icelandic society.
