Energy-related innovation meets future foods in this informative session. Collaboration projects Eimur, Blámi and Orkídea together with national energy company Landsvirkjun will showcase to guests how we are approaching the question of what we will be having for dinner in the future.

The event is a part of Iceland Innovation Week and takes place at Silfurtunglið in Austurbæjarbíó on April 30th at 2pm

Both the collaboration projects and Landsvirkjun are participating in creating different ways to make the production of future foods more straightforward and sustainable along with local startups, municipalities and companies in each region. All partners will participate in a panel where we discuss how to create value locally and what Iceland can produce with its unique resources, including geothermal heat, clean electricity and pure water.
