World Energy Council names Freyja Björk as future leader


The World Energy Council has announced a new cohort of global future energy leaders

We are happy to share that Freyja Björk Dagbjartsdóttir, Business Innovation Manager, has been selected for the World Energy Council Future Energy Leaders program!

Freyja has been with Landsvirkjun for over 2 years as a Business Innovation Manager. She is currently finishing a doctorate in Chemical Engineering from Cambridge University

Forty-nine exceptional young energy professionals from 63 countries were invited to join the World Energy Council Future Energy Leaders program this year.

For 40 years, the Future Energy Leaders Program has brought the best and brightest minds together to share their professional experiences and shape the energy systems of tomorrow.
