Landsvirkjun develops and operates renewable energy assets in Iceland and has extensive experience across the full hydropower project lifecycle – from early-stage development and engineering through procurement, construction, commissioning, operation and major refurbishment. We have doubled our installed capacity in Iceland over the past 20 years. Internationally, we have worked on more than 40 projects in 15 countries.
We combine the experience of a long-term asset owner and operator with strong technical capabilities, a strong balance sheet and extensive experience delivering projects in challenging environments.
Iceland’s national target is carbon neutrality by 2040, and Landsvirkjun is one of the platforms that will hopefully make it possible.
