Group Visit Request

The Energy Exhibition in Ljósafoss Power Station is closed during the wintertime. It will reopen in May 2026.

The Krafla Visitor Centre is closed during the wintertime and will also be closed during the summer of 2026 due to construction work at the power station.

The following group visit application is intended for group sizes of ten or more guests on chartered trips and business representatives from companies, institutions, or associations.

• Recommended length of stay for a group visit at the Energy Exhibition in Ljósafoss Power Station is approximately 45 to 60 minutes
• Staff welcomes groups, but please note that guided tours are not available
• Toilet facilities are provided, and visitors are offered a “steaming” cup of coffee
• The visitor centre is accessible for disabled individuals
